18-year-old fighting for his life after he was shot in the head in Tickfaw

An 18-year-old is fighting for his life in the hospital after deputies say he was shot in the head.

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office says the teen was brought to the hospital on Monday afternoon. He is in critical condition. His identity has not been released. Advertisement

Deputies say they received two calls about shots fired between two cars, one on Mily Niquiporo Road and another on Highway 1064 and Rufus Bankston Road.

Deputies released a photo of this car, which they believe was a good Samaritan.
