The vibrant spirit of Durga Puja has once again gripped Nagaland’s capital city Kohima, as the Kohima Bazaar Durga Puja Committee organised the annual festivities with devotion, grandeur, and a strong message of communal harmony.

The Puja celebrations organized continuously since 1961, have become a symbol of religious devotion and social unity. This year’s festivities have drawn hundreds of devotees, despite intermittent rainfall slightly affecting the expected footfall.

On Maha Navami today, the Committee organized special rituals and distributed Khichdi Maha Prasad to devotees, maintaining a long-standing tradition.
