MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Public Museumâs Streets of Old Milwaukee is once again decorated for Halloween, with displays reflecting turn-of-the-20th-century traditions.
The festive October additions, which opened Wednesday, Oct. 1, feature historically accurate decorations such as crepe paper streamers, life-size cornstalks and handmade party hats, according to MPM.
At Grannyâs House, visitors can see examples of home-crafted dĂ©cor. The Candy Shop includes candied apples and candy corn, while the Toy Store highlights replica orange-and-black childrenâs rattles. Vintage postcards and posters from the museumâs collection are on view in the Print Shop.
