Democrats need more listening, less telling

Let me begin by saying I've been a registered Democrat for 64 years. I feel left behind by the Democratic Party. People continue to talk about the irrelevance of the Democratic Party, and I can't argue with that. The leaders tend to speak from the mountaintop, and most people don't like that. Instead of starting conversations with "what you need is," start with, "What do you need?" People may begin to move back toward the party.
