GENEVA, Ohio —The crisp taste of cider goes well with Autumn’s cooler weather. Not just any cider, but craft hard ciders.
Spring Hill Cider Works in Geneva is welcoming the season with its annual CiderFest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4 and 5.
Visitors can try more than 35 hard ciders. These include 12 varieties from Spring Hill Cider Works and more than 25 guest ciders from across the country. The festival also will feature a few meads and non-alcoholic hard ciders, giving everyone a taste of the harvest.
In addition to cider tasting, a craft and vendor show takes place both days. Food will be available from locals like Nita’s Farm Fresh Cafe serving on Saturday and from Cousins Maine Lobster Truck on Sunday.
