CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Thousands of illuminated pumpkins will soon be on display at the Cincinnati Zoo.

For the second year, the Cincinnati Zoo is hosting its Jack-o’-lantern Glow event.

With 6,000 illuminated pumpkins, the Cincinnati Zoo says this is the largest show of its kind in the Tri-State.

“We’ve added more pumpkins this year and changed the event footprint . The pumpkins –all hand-carved and decorated by talented local artists – are just so impressive,” said Cincinnati Zoo events manager, Sydney Boudreaux. “New themed sections include Star Wars, Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Pumpkin Princess & Prince, and more.”

Jack O’ Lantern Glow runs nightly from Oct. 3 through Oct. 30, excluding Mondays.
