Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman has gifted his white grand piano to his nephew and acclaimed music director G V Prakash Kumar in celebration of the latter winning his second National Award.

G V Prakash took to X to share photographs of the gifted piano, expressing his gratitude. In his post, he wrote, “The best ever gift I received. @arrahman sir gifted me this beautiful white grand piano for receiving the National Awards for the second time. Thanks a lot sir this means a lot. The piano used by the legend himself. What better gift can I ask for?"
