The Alabama League of Municipalities (ALM) will launch its first regional orientation training session for newly elected and returning municipal officials on October 1–2 at the Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa.

Hosted every four years following municipal elections, these sessions help city and town leaders understand League programs and services. Attendees will also receive training in legal, financial, and ethics matters from ALM staff and the Alabama Ethics Commission.

The program will highlight recent legislative updates, current municipal issues, and key resources to address daily challenges, while offering opportunities for networking and idea sharing among peers from across the state. A full agenda is available here.
