VINCENNES - The Washington High School boys’ tennis team came up just short in a hard-fought match against South Knox on Tuesday evening, falling by a narrow 2-3 margin at the Lincoln Sectional.
The Hatchets picked up key wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, but South Knox proved too strong in the remaining courts, securing the overall victory. Despite the team's loss, Washington’s top competitors kept their seasons alive.
