UPDATE: Crews began work on the John Ross Road Resurfacing Project in East Ridge on Wednesday morning.

Crews are working to prepare the site before milling and resurfacing, which is expected to begin on October 15.

City officials say the project is expected to take up to two months to finish if weather permits.

Work on the project will be done from 7:30am to 5:30pm on Monday through Friday.

Drivers can expect alternating lane closures, rolling road closures, and flagger operations.
