A sniffer dog caught a prison worker trying to smuggle drugs into a jail — inside a secret pair of trousers, a court heard. Paul Heath, 48, hid thousands of pounds of cannabis inside the pockets of a second pair of pants he was wearing underneath his outer clothing . ‌

The maintenance contractor also had packages containing further contraband taped to his ankles. He had even discussed bringing weapons into HMP Liverpool on behalf of inmates. ‌
