SRINAGAR : A 62-year-old man from Pulwama, who was injured in a road traffic accident at Pantha Chowk in August, succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The deceased has been identified as Altaf Ahmad Pandith, son of Abdul Gani Pandith, a resident of Wuthor Pulwama. Police and hospital sources said that the accident occurred on August 31 when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck at Pantha Chowk, resulting in severe injuries.

Pandith, who sustained multiple injuries in the collision, was rushed to SMHS Hospital by the truck driver, identified as Abdul Hamid Bhat, a resident of Khanmoh. The vehicle involved in the accident bore registration number JK05B/9730.
