SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has clarified that Nasir Aslam Wani has been officially appointed as Advisor to the Chief Minister, dispelling recent “misleading” reports questioning his appointment. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to a government order, Wani’s appointment has already been confirmed, with only the terms and conditions of his service pending finalisation. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister’s office said the delay in finalising these details has been unnecessarily highlighted, creating an impression that the appointment itself was incomplete.

Despite this procedural delay, Wani has been actively contributing to governance in Jammu and Kashmir, assisting the Chief Minister on a range of policy and administrative matters.
