Tata Motors Passenger vehicle Ltd posted a strong performance in the second quarter of FY26, selling 1,44,397 passenger vehicles, up from 1,30,753 units a years ago. This marks a 10 per cent year-on-year surge, driving by rising demand for electric vehicles and steady contributions from international markets, ANI cited Tata Motors said in a press release.

In September 2025, the firm's performance stood out sharply with a total sales of 60,907 units. As compared to September 2024, there is 47 per cent increase, making the company's highest-ever monthly sales.

Apart from these, domestic sales contributed 59,667 units, while international business accounted for 1,240 units. Electronic vehicles (EV's) continuously gaining purchases as sales nearly doubled in September 2025.
