Jefferson County has approved the 9-lot commercial subdivision plat which is the first phase of The Bobcat Flats subdivision. This development is located in the high industrial zone on County Line Road near the County Line Landfill.
According to Planner Jenna Huennekens, this plat already has a private road maintenance agreement in place with the county, an agreement which was approved prior to the short plat presented to the board. The plat presented at the Board's Sept. 22 meeting shows a 50-foot right of way given to the county along the whole frontage of the plat.
Since commercial plats don't require irrigation to be addressed in the same manner as residential plats, the board chose to briefly discuss the water rights associated with the land and cautioned the developers to be aware
