(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) announced that a joint press conference will be held with the 10th Judicial District Attorney's Office at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, to provide updates on the criminal investigation into Davis Mortuary.

According to CBI, 24 bodies were found at the mortuary, along with multiple containers of bones and several containers of what appeared to be human tissue, the total of which represented an unknown number of deceased individuals that have since been transferred to the El Paso County Coroner's Office for identification.
