In a shocking incident, an Indian-origin couple has been accused of murdering their three-year-old daughter nearly two years ago by "deliberately starving" her. According to The Daily Telegraph, 34-year-old Manpreet Jatana and 36-year-old Jaskiret Singh Uppal have been charged with murder. Additionally, the couple is also facing charges of manslaughter, causing or allowing the death of their daughter, and abandoning her or causing unnecessary suffering or injury. The newspaper added that the couple has been remanded in custody until the next hearing on December 16.
