BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. (KOLO) - A Utah man was killed when his tractor/trailer combo rolled over near Battle Mountain.

At around 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 20, troopers with NHP responded to a stretch of IR-80 around 50 miles east of Battle Mountain for reports of a crash.

An initial investigation found that a white Peterbilt tractor/trailer was headed west when, for unknown reasons, the driver allowed the vehicle to run off the left side of the road, enter the center median and overturn.

The driver, 54-year-old Robb Johnson of West Jordan, Utah, sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
