RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The City of Reno has launched a new tool that provides data on the city’s housing needs.
The dashboard provides data on current needs, as well as projected needs over the next 10 years.
“I hear from residents every day about how challenging the housing market has become, and that’s why this dashboard is such an important tool,” said Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. “Our Council is looking forward to using these new insights to make meaningful decisions to help address our community’s housing needs.”
The database showcases various needs, including how many homes are needed in the area, what types of housing are being built, benchmarks for renters and homeowners, as well as information on household size, income and other data.
