Travelers flying out of Georgia this year may want to take a closer look at their airport options, especially if they’re hoping to avoid flight disruptions .

A new report from InsureMyTrip , based on U.S. Department of Transportation data, reveals that Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) ranks as the third-worst airport in the U.S. for flight cancellations in 2025.

According to the study, 2.72% of all flights out of SAV were canceled in the first half of the year, putting it just behind Washington D.C.’s Reagan National and Dallas/Fort Worth International.
