ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for a “cold-blooded and senseless” murder in 2023, according to the Douglas County district attorney.

The district attorney said that on April 24, 2024, 26-year-old Tymarion Bivins went to the home of his girlfriend’s mother. He was there to pick up a relative’s child from Don Bondieumaitre, 44, who was watching the child.

Bivins and Bondieumaitre got into an argument and Bondieumaitre shot Bivins in the back of the head. He died a few minutes later.

According to the district attorney, Bondieumaitre made “threatening and derogatory remarks” toward Bivins’ body and called multiple people to say he was going to prison for killing someone.
