EXETER – The Govers Family Farm and Pumpkin Patch east of Exeter was the site of running, walking and yoga on Saturday, Sept. 27 — and all for a good cause.
Centralia-based Jolt Fitness and the Govers Family Farm partnered to offer Fitness in the Patch at 71209 Elimville Line, which generated the equivalent of 10 full grocery bags of donations to the Exeter Community Food Bank.

Jolt owner Katie Mills said 45 people attended the event at the pumpkin patch, which is located behind Thames Road-Elimville United Church, including seniors and children from Jolt’s Fit for Life program.
All told, Mills said the food donations filled a pumpkin wagon.
