DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Humane Society of Dickson County is in urgent need of donations after the shelter ran out of cat litter.

“Changing litter daily is vital to keeping our cats healthy and preventing the spread of disease in a shelter environment,“ a Facebook post from the Humane Society said. ”Right now, we’re at risk without your support.”

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

The shelter is requesting the following kinds of litter:

Pellet litter, which is important for nursing moms and young kittens

Non-clumping litter

Clumping litter

Donations can be dropped off 24/7 at 311 Tesco Drive in Dickson, Tennessee.
