The supervised consumption service at 179 Clarence Street has been closed after Ottawa Public Health did not receive the province’s endorsement to continue the program. Article content

OPH had a federal exemption to operate the supervised injection site, but that expired on Sept. 30. In order to continue to operate, the SCS needed an exemption renewal by Health Canada. Article content Article content
