The Renfrew detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police was investigating a two-vehicle collision that killed two women from Val-des-Monts, Que., on Tuesday afternoon. Article content

A media release on Wednesday said the 54- and 78-year-old victims had been in a car that collided with a pickup truck on Highway 17 in Renfrew at around 12 noon on Sept. 30. They were transported to hospital, but were pronounced dead. Article content Article content

There were no injuries for the driver and sole occupant of the pickup truck, the OPP reported.
