Former Yankees outfielder Cameron Maybin took to social media to stand up for Jazz Chisholm Jr.

In Tuesday night’s loss to the Red Sox, the Yankees started Amed Rosario in Chisholm’s place at second base against Boston’s left-handed ace Garrett Crochet,

After the game,when reporters asked Chisholm about manager Aaron Boone’s decision to sit him, he turned his back to his locker.

“I’m not even mad at Jazz....he should be pissed,” Maybin wrote on X . “The man just had a 30-30 season an then gets treated like a platoon player is unacceptable.The third player in Yankees history to achieve a 30-30 season (joining Bobby Bonds and Alfonso Soriano).”
