The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce is providing opportunities for the public to hear from the election candidates. The Vernal Chamber luncheon on Tuesday hosted a candidate discussion with the candidates running for the two open positions on the Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Improvement District board. Incumbent candidates Brownie Tomlinson and Boyd Workman were present as well as candidates Travis Campbell, David Brinkerhoff, Michael Cook, and Wayne Simper. Candidates Mitchell Murray and Brad Grammer were unable to attend. The Question/Answer session allowed each candidate time to respond and focused on what the candidates’ priorities would be if elected and the water connection shortage within the District.
