DENVER (KDVR) — The NHL season is right around the corner, but one player will be missing from its ranks as Colorado Avalanche staple, Erik Johnson, announced his retirement after 17 seasons in the league.
During his 17 seasons over 18 years, he spent nearly 13 of them with the Avalanche, including 2022, when he helped the team win the Stanley Cup.
