PEPPER PIKE, Ohio -- Orange Inclusive Preschool has set its sights on a new goal: accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
On Monday (Sept. 29), Orange City Schools Superintendent Lynn Campbell told the Orange Board of Education that some changes have been made at the state level with the passage of House Bill 96, Ohio’s main operating budget for the next two years.
The bill was signed into law by Gov. Mike DeWine June 30, and most provisions became effective Tuesday (Sept. 30).
Among those changes, Campbell said, is the elimination of the requirement for state-licensed preschools in Ohio to be involved with Step Up to Quality.
