Two men have appeared in court following the death of Kevin Bowman in Airdrie. ‌

Aidan Travers, 24, and Connor Travers, 26, were both charged with murder when they appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court today. ‌

Mr Bowman, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene after police attended at a property in Hamilton Drive, Airdrie, on September 18. ‌

Aidan and Connor Travers have also been charged with attempted murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.

They made no plea during their appearance today and were remanded in custody. ‌

Detective Chief Inspector Bob Williamson, of the Major Investigation Team, said at the time of the incident: "Our thoughts remain with Kevin’s family and friends, and we are continuing to provide them with support as our extensive enquiries
