A man entered a Steelton business in June and took a credit card, court heard Tuesday.

Corey Marshall, 48, pleaded guilty to those offences and six others including damaging a door at a downtown social agency in June 2023 and driving while prohibited in June 2025.

Ontario Court Justice Martin Lambert ordered a pre-sentence report at the request of defense counsel Sarah Tucci.

Meanwhile, another man pleaded guilty to causing mischief to two units at a Bruce Street building in July.

Michael Finch, 39, also pleaded to failing to comply with his probation order and failing to report to his probation officer. Tucci also asked for a pre-sentence report for Finch.

Marshall and Finch return to court Nov. 6 at 1:30 p.m. for updates on their reports.
