Those who follow the ITV soap saw Jenny let her crush, George Shuttleworth, think that Rita Tanner was really ill after she suffered a fall earlier this week, as she remained jealous of his blossoming relationship with Christina Boyd.

George ended up popping into see Rita, with a homemade soup, but as she was about to tell George the truth, Jenny spotted Christina in the corner of her eye and continued to lie about Rita’s health in a bid for attention.
