A healthcare solutions company is planning to lay off approximately 75 people at a distribution center in Cumberland County.
Owens & Minor Halyard Inc. filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, informing the state it is laying off the employees at 500 Independence Ave. in Upper Allen Township, outside of Mechanicsburg.
The layoffs will begin on Nov. 28.
“This action will result in the separation of approximately 75 employees, including long-term temporary workers, over a 90-day period, beginning on November 28, 2025,” the company said in the WARN notice.
Owens & Minor provides products that support care both in medical facilities and at home. Halyard’s products include surgical gloves and masks.
