The Cook County Department of Public Health confirmed Tuesday the third case of measles in a Cook County suburb and said people may have been exposed to the disease in a Crestwood Aldi.
Health officials said people may have been exposed if they visited the Aldi store at 4820 Cal Sag Road between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 24.
The case was identified in a suburban adult whose vaccination status is unknown. Public health officials said they believe the case was acquired from exposure to the last reported case, a 4-year-old, unvaccinated child between 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sept. 11 in Terminal 5 of O’Hare International Airport.
