BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Agencies across the country are figuring out how to adjust their operations now that the federal government has shut down. If the government shutdown drags on through November, uncertainty over SNAP and WIC could heighten hunger concerns across the Brazos Valley.

The last government shutdown began in December 2018. It lasted 35 days, and its impacts were felt here in the Brazos Valley.
