CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A former Charlotte school bus driver accused of multiple child sex crimes is now being held on a $1 million secured bond, according to court records.
Leetwain Darrell Tate, 48, also known as "Ms. Sharon," appeared in court on Wednesday, where a judge appointed her a public defender and set the high bond. The court also ordered that Tate have no contact with any of the victims or prosecuting witnesses.
Tate previously worked as a bus driver at Sugar Creek Charter School. Police said the reported incidents took place at a private home and not on school property or during work hours.
