W ACO , Texas (KWTX) - Nearly 300 grams of cocaine is off the streets of Waco thanks to the work of the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office.
The first warrant was executed in the 400 block of Spring Street on Sept. 30. The sheriff said it resulted in the seizure of more than 250 grams of cocaine.
The drug bust led to the arrest of Waco resident Russell Harris on a charge of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance over 200 grams/under 400 grams, a first-degree felony.
Harris is being held at the McLennan County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
The second warrant was executed the morning of Oct. 1 in the 1900 block of 6th Street. That drug bust led to the seizure of more than 40 grams of cocaine at a location within 150 feet of an elementary school.
