The owner of Whiskey Bay Resort truck nearly struck another vehicle before going over a curb and hitting the pole at about 10:20 p.m. on April 29, said assistant Crown attorney Adrianna Mucciarelli. Sweezey offered the driver he almost hit $100 to drive him home. She had stopped to make sure he was OK.
Ontario Court Justice Martin Lambert accepted a joint position from Mucciarelli and defense counsel Anthony Orazietti. Sweezey was fined $1,500 for dangerous driving and $700 for failing to remain at the scene
