A Barrie driver is charged with drug-impaired operation after being pulled over near Massey.

The OPP said members of the East Algoma detachment responded around 9 p.m. Sunday to a report from a driver about being followed by another vehicle on Highway 17 east of Thessalon.

“The driver was unable to provide their exact location and could only confirm their direction of travel,” the OPP said in a release. “The Provincial Communications Centre North Bay maintained communication with the driver, which ultimately led to Manitoulin OPP conducting a traffic stop west of the Town of Massey.”
