LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — HBO announced that it's producing a documentary chronicling the life of Brent Renaud, a Little Rock filmmaker and journalist who was killed by Russian forces in Ukraine in 2022.
The trailer for the documentary, which is entitled Armed Only With A Camera: The Life and Death of Brent Renaud, was released by HBO on Wednesday.
HBO said that the film is "a tribute to [Renaud] a war photojournalist who risked everything on the front lines." The documentary is set to premiere on HBO Max on Oct. 21.
Renaud was killed by Russian forces outside the capital of Kyiv back in March of 2022, according to police in Ukraine.
