U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody says now that there’s a government shutdown hobbling the nation’s capital, she’ll go without pay until government functions return to normal.

Moody announced that she will forward all her salary she would get as a Senator during the shutdown to a Tampa area nonprofit organization until the political spending split is resolved. She’ll be donating her salary to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay .

The Republican Senator laid blame on Democrats for the dispute, which has led to many federal government services being halted.
