A Middleboro man accused of stabbing his mother’s long-term partner nearly 20 times during an argument over dinner was indicted on a murder charge in Brockton Superior Court Friday, Sept. 26, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

Andrew Horsman, 41, was indicted by a Plymouth County grand jury Friday on a first-degree murder charge in connection with the fatal stabbing of his mother’s long-term partner, Paul Pomerleau, 66, during a family gathering at a Middleboro residence on Saturday, June 28, the DA's office said.

An argument over a steak and sausage dinner allegedly led Horsman to stab Pomerleu nearly 20 times, according to the DA's office.

Horsman pleaded not guilty to one count of first-degree murder in Wareham District Court on June 30.
