AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A woman was sentenced to more than five years in prison for threatening a federal judge in Amarillo.
Dolly Patterson was sentenced to 60 months in prison and three years of supervised release.
Last year, Patterson was indicted on one count of "Transmitting a Threatening Communication in Interstate Commerce," and one count of "Influencing a Federal Official by Threat."
Patterson was sentenced Tuesday for "Transmitting a Threatening Communication in Interstate Commerce" to 60 months in prison.
According to court documents, the charge of "Influencing a Federal Official by Threat" was dismissed.
