SOUTHPORT, N.C. — The city of Southport has identified the three people who were killed in a mass shooting on Sept. 27. According to a release, these three victims were shot by a suspect on a boat while at American Fish Company.
Their names are as follows:
36-year-old Soloman Banjo of Charlottesville, VA
64-year-old Joy Rogers of Southport, NC
56-year-old Michael Durbin of Galena, OH
The suspect, Nigel Max Edge, was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. His next court appearance is set for Oct. 13, 2025.
Police they're continuing to investigate.
