(Grass Valley, CA) – Two 17-year-old juveniles have been arrested and taken into custody by the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) in connection with an online threat involving a firearm. The first juvenile, a male and student of Nevada Union High School (NUHS), was arrested for alleged criminal threats and conspiracy to commit crime. The second juvenile, a female who does not attend NUHS, was also arrested for alleged conspiracy to commit crime.
This incident unfolded on the morning of Oct. 1 when an NCSO School Resource Officer (SRO) was alerted to a threat of violence by the school administration, as reported by a concerned parent.
