The weather pattern changes on Thursday. High pressure will move northeast of Alabama, causing northeast to east winds to reach Central Alabama. This will send a trough of low pressure across the Southeast U.S., helping to dry out the area and reduce humidity. Expect plenty of sunshine with highs in the lower to mid-80s.
