(WHTM) -- Pennsylvania took in a record $2.8 billion in gaming tax revenue over the last year.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board released its annual report Wednesday, which detailed revenue from slot machines, table games, sports wagering, internet gaming, fantasy sports and video gaming terminals at truck stops.

Revenues across the state increased by 8.5%, at a time when many casinos have sounded the alarm over declining profit, for a total of $6.4 billion in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the report said. This translated to $2.8 billion in taxes for the state.
