HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford unveiled a new "Run Hartford" mural Wednesday.

The 75-foot-long mural, which was painted on the north side of the LAZ parking gold building garage, aims to capture what it means to be a runner and find a sense of fellowship in the Hartford running community.

"We installed this piece that will be here year-round for years to come, to celebrate that community and that energy that race day brings," Josh Miller, president of the Hartford Marathon Foundation, said. "We started this process earlier this year and we just finished it a couple weeks ago."

The Hartford Marathon Foundation is celebrating more than three decades of bringing people together in the spirit of fitness and community activism.
