Cillian Murphy weighed in on why he thinks it's important for actors to be known for their work and not necessarily their personality.
In a preview clip for the Oct. 5 "Sunday Sitdown With Willie Geist," the Academy Award-winning actor spoke with Sunday TODAY anchor about why he doesn't seem too interested in becoming a celebrity.
"One of the things I admire about you, Cillian, is your complete disinterest in being a celebrity or a movie star," Willie said while laughing. "And that you’re an actor and you wanna be known for your work, and you’ve pulled that off."
Willie then asked Murphy why it was important for people not to know too much about him personally.
"I’ve always felt that if you wanna try and inhabit somebody convincingly that it seems sensible that there wouldn’t be too
