INDIANAPOLIS — After a season in coaching, Kyle Guy is re-starting his playing career in his home state.
Per an NBA source, the Pacers plan to sign Guy — a former Lawrence Central High School star and Indiana's Mr. Basketball in 2016 — to an Exhibit 10 contract and have him play for the Noblesville Boom, the franchise's G League team. An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year minimum contract with no salary guarantee, but it allows teams to give salary bonuses for players to stick with their G League affiliates. For the 2025-26 season, those bonuses can go up to around $85,000.
Guy was a special assistant at Virginia, his alma mater, in the 2024-25 season, and he was hired to be an assistant at Nevada under head coach and former Indiana University star Steve Alford for the 2025-26 seaso
